Wordpress Installation Guide

This guide can be used with any free or PRO whos.amung.us account.

IMPORTANT: hosted Wordpress blogs (ie. you have a site like http://yourblogname.wordpress.com) require a slightly different code and the map widget can not be embedded directly in your blog. Contact whos.amung.us for the appropriate code for your blog. If you run your own Wordpress installation the normal widget codes will work fine.

1. Once you log into your Wordpress account, select the "Widgets" option from the "Appearance" menu.
   
2. Scroll down and select the "Text" widget option, drag it to the "Main Sidebar" section on the top right hand side of the page.
   
3. Give the widget section a title (if you want) and then copy the widget code to the big text box. Then press the "Save" button, followed by the "Close" button.
   
4. The widget should now show up on your blog.
